A Sweet Family
Pitt family organization will be
the best for History
Most of the information came from a wonderful cousin Bonny Pitt Taylor who died January 1, 2011. She spent most of her last years with her wonderful sister, Rickie. I loved to be around Rickie and Bonnie. Bonnie was bubbly, always of good humor and could talk the hind leg off a horse, as is Rickie. OK, you don't see to many three legged horses so I guess that statement is just a little shy of being correct. Bonnie and Rickie's family has history you would not believe. I think they are still trying to hide all the horse thieves and pirates from earlier centuries.
Laurence Pitt on a suggestion from his wife started this picturesque website. His talents were expanded by following up on that suggestion.
In Colstrip working as a IT analyst. I had plenty to do but thought my time in front of the T.V. was being wasted or was it that my waist was being enhanced. So, I started creating all my own pages, says me. “Yes me.” then I brought Tyrel Venne to redesign the site. What a blessing he has been.
So locked, well not locked, in my mancave, which is filled with non man cave women stuff that my wonderful wife say I cannot remove. I started working on the site because it was time to do something other than making a living, and so the birth of this website began. Today, it is just fun fun fun. I would go on but I would wear out the FUN keys on the keyboard..
We didn’t know anything, Picasa? Dream Weaver? Php? MySql? Gedcom, What's that?
If you want to be hassled dial (406) 740-1995 or log on to www.pittfaimily.org and send an e-mail. I will be available in the evenings, OK, just some of them. If you have any special information you would like to include, we will start adding it soon.
A Tribute to Bonnie from her daughter Kathy:
Moment In Time
As I sit in the chair beside her bed,
Mom asks me to snuggle next to her head.
We lay and reminisce of days gone by,
When a glimpse of Heaven she saw with her eye.
I would be blessed to hear the things she saw,
I lay there stricken with wonder and awe.
Mom would tell me of Grandma Taylor's beautiful smile,
And how she looked at her and waived for a while.
She would describe the beauty of what she did see,
I could visualize it as though she were me.
Her tone was so calm, gentle and sweet,
As she described all the past family and friends she would meet.
The flowers were more exquisite than one can imagine,
You knew it was truly a visit in Heaven.
Music rang out in glorious tone,
Mom never felt sad or even alone.
I asked if her loved ones had come to be reunited,
She said “ No, I have not yet been invited.”
I asked if she were afraid to go to this place she did see,
She said” No, not afraid at all, it is a place of peace and tranquility.”
This is only a small part of our moment through the veil,
It is a special time I will treasure a remember very well.
I feel Father in Heaven gave me this moment with Mom,
So I could be strong and understand why she is gone.
I keep shedding tears of sorrow and grief,
But life everlasting is my belief.
uI know Heavenly Father's plan is more wonderful than one recall,
And Mom gave me a small glimpse of what is ahead for us all.
Mom and Dad are once again in each others arms to behold,
And that is more valuable than all the worlds silver or gold.
LOVE, Kathy
